The Allove Experience
Your Guided Journey to Unforgettable Moments
Phase I: The Allove Client Journey
We’ve broken your experience down into six simple steps. This clear timeline removes the guesswork and shows you exactly how I’ll support you from that first message all the way through final delivery.
Onboarding
You book, and this guide lands in your inbox. From there, we confirm dates, contracts, and deposits so your spot is officially locked in.Discovery
I’ll send over your custom questionnaire (wedding or portrait) to really get to know your vision, your needs, and any anxieties you might have. The more I understand you, the better I can serve you.Planning
You’ll receive custom guides—like the “What to Wear” guide—right when you need them, not all at once. This keeps things from feeling overwhelming and helps you feel prepared instead of stressed. The Session
On session day, you get to breathe and just be present. I’ll guide you the whole way through, focusing on genuine emotion and real connection, whether we’re in my Portland studio or out in the Cascade mountains.Post-Production
After our time together, I carefully cull, edit, and refine your images and video. I’ll keep you in the loop with clear delivery updates so you’re never left wondering where things are at.
Offboarding
We wrap things up with final delivery, a bit of celebration, and steps to make sure your memories are safely preserved for the future.
Hi, I’m Alijah.
Welcome to the Allove family! You’ve officially trusted me with your story, and I’m truly grateful you chose me to capture it here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Photography has been part of my life for nearly 20 years, and for the last decade I’ve focused exclusively on portraits and weddings. Over time, I’ve refined this process so your experience feels organized, calm, and as stress-free as possible.
This guide is your roadmap. When you have a few quiet minutes, please read it all the way through—it covers everything you need to know and do so we can have a fun, relaxed, and successful experience together.
Phase II: Setting Expectations & Boundaries
Clear, kind communication keeps everything running smoothly and respectful for both of us.
Communication Policy & Office Hours
I aim to keep communication prompt, clear, and down-to-earth.
Preferred Method: Email is best for all project communication so nothing gets lost.
Office Hours: I respond to emails Monday–Friday during standard business hours.
Response Time: You can expect a personal reply within 24–48 hours. Weekends are reserved for current client sessions and personal time, so I can stay fully present for you and everyone I work with.
In general, I don’t respond to texts or DMs about booked projects—email keeps everything organized in one place.
-
With video, I’m not just telling your story—I’m also making sure everything is legally and creatively protected.
-
I use fully licensed music sources (like Epidemic Sound and Motion Array) [User Input]. The contract you signed confirms your video usage rights for personal online channels (social media, personal websites). If you plan to use the film for mass-market media (e.g., broadcast TV or large-scale digital advertising), you’ll need to let me know right away so we can secure the proper, itemized licensing, which is significantly more costly.
-
To keep your project moving smoothly and honor the delivery timeline, your package includes one round of revisions for the final video edit. Any additional or extensive changes requested after that round will incur an additional hourly fee.
Your invoicing and payment schedules are always available in your Client Portal, so you can check on those details anytime.
Investment Details
Your investment isn’t just for photos or a film—it’s for almost two decades of experience, a streamlined process, and a calm, guided journey from start to finish.
